Thank you for your continued prayers over our staff and all the families that have suffered and continue to struggle as a result of last month’s 7.8 earthquake in Ecuador.
In the days following this disaster, Kids Around the World staff assisted in recovery efforts:- Delivered 40,000 meals to the affected communities around Puerto Nuevo.
- Shared a clear gospel message and prayer at distribution points.
- Helped repair the damaged roof on the local church.
- Distributed 40 water filters to families with children.
According to our staff on the ground, safe potable water is a critical need. Our goal is acquire one hundred water filters to distribute to larger households suffering the greatest need.
